Rogue Michael Jackson website settles copyright lawsuit

A Canadian memorabilia dealer who worked with Michael Jackson’s mother on a tribute book and ran a website using the singer’s image and music reached a $2.5 million copyright settlement on Tuesday with Jackson’s estate. Howard Mann, who used, and similar domain names to sell Jackson’s music and other memorabilia, was also barred from using the ‘Thriller’ singer’s image without the permission of his estate.
