Pinoy drug convict executed in China  

The Filipino who was convicted on drug trafficking charges has been executed in China, Vice President Jejomar Binay said on Thursday. In a video conference with reporters in Pasay City, Binay said the 35-year-old Filipino was executed via lethal injection in Liuzhou County, Guangzi. The execution took place after the Guilin Municipal Intermediate Peoples Court promulgated the death sentence on the drug convict, whose identity has been withheld by the government.
