Ponciano Pineda dies at 81

Ponciano B. Pineda, 81, writer, teacher, linguist and lawyer, considered the Father of the Commission on Filipino Language, passed away last Friday, July 31 of cardiac arrest.

His remains lie at Loyola Memorial Chapel in Marikina. Internment will be on August 5 after the 9 a.m. Mass.
