david-holmes-daniel-radcliff-injury In a freak accident recently, Daniel Radcliff’s stunt double, David Holmes, 25 received serious spinal injuries.  While rehearsing a flying scene for the upcoming movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, at the Leavesden film studios near Watford, an explosion caused Homles to fall hard to the ground.

Holmes was conscious when the crew went to his aid but told them he could not feel his legs or anything below his waist! That sounds bad, as in broken back and possible paralysis!  Let’s hope for the best.

It is not yet known if Daniel Radcliff, who is in New York at the time, has been informed at this time.

David Holmes is currently being treated at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, North-West London.  His parents are there at his side.

We wish you the best David and will be wishing for a speedy recovery! Good luck!

oprah-winfrey-55-birthday

Queen of all media Oprah Winfrey is turning 55 today! How exciting to bring in another year of life knowing that your one of the wealthiest women in the world, knowing that your show is watched in 141 countries, and that your magazine is read by over 2 million readers!

Oprah had a huge party when she turned 50.

“No expense was spared in her 50th birthday party. It was a black-and-white-themed party at her ranch in Montecito, California. A-list celebrities were there, evryone you can imagine,” said Ashley Dillahunty, bureau chief of In Touch Weekly.

Let’s see if this media queen will shadow that previous party.  Look for the likes of not only A-List celebrities on the guest list, but there will likely be many politicians around too as it seems Oprah is turning her attention that way more often in the recent years.  Is she planning to be President someday?!?

When some of her friends were asked, “What do you get the woman who has everything?”, some of the following responses were given:

“I know what I’d get her. I’m going to give her a donation to her school in Africa,” said her longtime friend, actress Jennifer Aniston.

“A big, fat kiss. And I love you,” said comedian and “30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan.

“Obama’s president. What more do you get someone?” remarked actor John Slattery, knowing Winfrey is a die-hard Obama supporter.

Happy Birthday Oprah Winfrey! We love ya!

michael-jackson-sued Michael Jackson may be happy that Thriller is headed to the stage, but John Landis, the director who co-wrote the video and shot Thriller, isn’t so “Thrilled”!!!

Just days before the announcement that a director had purchased the rights to adapt Thriller as a stage play, Landis’ Levitsky Productions Inc. quickly moved to sue Jackson claiming he owed them royalties for the last 4 years!  In the lawsuit, Landis claims he is owed 50 percent of profits from "Thriller" projects and says that Jackson continues to license rights to video games, toys & comic books based on the 14-minute music video and documentary.

In Futher news…

bon-jovi-sued Joseph Krause, ex-manger of the Philadelphia Souls, is suing club owner Jon Bon Jovi and his partners for almost $125,000 that he says he is owed!

Krause tells that he is owed commissions of more than $83,000 for the 2008 season & also more than $41,000 for the canceled 2009 season!

Looks like it is going to be another sue happy year in the crazy world of Hollywood! Speaking of suing, we are waiting patiently to see the next saga in the Perez Hilton Scandal aka I am a fat queen, a lousy writer, and I have to sue everyone to create publicity for myself because my kingdom is crumbling! Remember that is our opinion, something which everyone is entitled to!

Loves ya,
XOXOXO
Ricky ?

prince-harry-chelsy-davy After three years together, London papers are reporting that Prince Harry and Chelsy are calling it quits! Chelsy has been put off in the past by 23-year-old Harry’s partying ways.

She has asked for a trial separation (yeah right) while she continues her studies in law at Leeds University.  Sounds to me like she wants to try out some of the other boys in the neighborhood! I am sure Prince Harry doesn’t mind, he has just become London’s most eligible bachelor!

drew-barrymore-charlies-angels-3 In a recent interview with eonline, Drew says: “I’m so into it—Charlie’s Angels III!”

And why wouldn’t she be, this show was very successful and I am sure that many of the fans are just waiting for a part III!

The Original Charlie’s Angels television series was started in 1970 and nine years ago, Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu retold the story in the first Charlie’s Angels movie.  The movie was a hit and 3 years later they reunited for Charlie’s Angels 2: Full Throttle.

New ideas for the third movie in this comical series are to add a fourth angel, kind of like when they added Kris Monroe, the sister of Jill, in the original show.
